What you are actually buying
Metallic epoxy is a pigmented base with metallic powders suspended in a clear resin, worked by hand with rollers, torches and air while it is still wet. The pattern is made on site, by a person, and it cannot be repeated exactly.
It is the most expensive floor we install and the one that photographs best. If you have a collection, a lift, and lighting you actually thought about, this is the floor for it.
Honest limitations
Metallic shows tire marks and scuffs more readily than flake. It is a display finish, not a workshop finish. We will always ask what the space is really used for before quoting it.
