- —New structural cracks caused by slab movement or foundation settling
- —Damage from impact, dropped tools or dragging metal
- —Battery acid, brake fluid or paint stripper left to sit
- —Stains from tires, rubber mats or road salt left on the floor
- —Anything a later contractor coats over
